Features & Benifits
Jetheat GT-550

* COMPACT SIZE

    • Dimensions: 2'x4'x4' - Weight: 275 lbs.

        Benefit: Compact, lightweight unit on wheels easily fits in a standard pickup truck.  Can

        be hoisted to above ground level elevations placing JetHeat close to the work site.

* HEAT OUTPUT

    • Three heat settings: 430,000 - 540,000 - 700,000 BTU/hr.

        Benefit: JetHeat rates its unit as BTU output (99+% efficient) with

        "Low - Medium - High" heat settings for proper job application.

* TURBINE ENGINE POWERED

    • Clean and efficient combustion.

        Benefit: JetHeat does NOT require an exhaust stack as it efficiently burns 99+% of all the

        fuel.  Therefore, the total output is delivered as safe breathable air.

    • Long life, safe, lightweight, rugged, no vibration, no exposed flames.

        Benefit: Lower maintenance with longer run time. JetHeat can be operated on elevated

        floors without the threat of inducing unwanted vibrations.  No open flame makes JetHeat

        safe.  Mounting the turbine engine in a well-insulated compartment reduces the noise level

        while 100% of the engine's heat is utilized in the output.

* POWERFUL AXIAL FAN

    • HIGH volume, delivers 5,200 CFM @ 3" HČO static pressure, of HOT air.

    • HIGH static pressure, produces up to 15" HČO @ 4,100 CFM.

        Benefit: High air volume ensures a more uniform heat rate so objects heat faster.

        The fan can be changed to accommodate custom applications.  JetHeat's high pressure

        output will lift large, heavy secured tarpaulins/blankets commonly used for ground thawing.

        JetHeat can also be used in situations to dry desired surfaces such as wet ground or to

        help cure concrete.  When used as recommended, JetHeat will pressurize the work area,

        exchanging cold air with clean fresh air up to several times an hour and is ideal in paint

        drying applications.

* MICROPROCESSOR CONTROLLED

    • JetHeat features a specially designed automatic digital control that manages the

      operation of the heater.

        Benefit: The microprocessor controls engine speed and subsequently the heat

        output.  The control also provides and manages from a remote reservoir, the fuel

        pumping capability necessary for sustained operation.  All critical safety items are

        monitored such as; overtemp, tilt, drop, low oil, overspeed, fuel pressure loss, etc.

        The microprocessor will either safely shut the system down or abort the operation

        in case of a malfunction.  Includes onboard self-diagnostics to aid in troubleshooting.

* CATALYST TECHNOLOGY

    • Converts clean burning, engine heated air to safe breathable levels.  Meets OHSA and

      NIOSH requirements.

        Benefit: Increases thermal efficiency.  The catalyst has long life capability and

        can be easily removed for cleaning if necessary.

* MODULAR DESIGN

    • Fuel storage tank up to 200' from GT-550.

        Benefit: Convenient when working above or below ground level elevations.  Large

        heavy fuel tanks necessary for prolonged operation can be positioned on the ground

        safely away from the work site so as to not waste valuable floor space.

* AIR DELIVERY CAPABILITY

    • Quick release couplings on air ducts.  Manifolds are available for multiple ducts.

        Benefit: Setup is fast and easy with the aid of quick release couplings on the 16"

        diameter x 25' air delivery duct.  JetHeat's high pressure through manifolds

        enable ducts to be run to multiple locations, distributing the heat to other

        rooms or locations.

* LOW COST FUEL USED

    • #1 ultra-low sulfur diesel or fuel oil.

        Benefit: Readily available, safe to use and transport, and has low flash point.  Fuel oil

        has more BTU's per gallon than propane.

* FUEL EFFICIENCY

    • Low consumption, 3.2 - 4.0 - 5.2 gallons per hour at low, medium, or high settings.

        Benefit: Since 99+% of the BTU's available from the fuel is converted to usable heat,

        JetHeat uses nearly half the fuel of other temporary heaters with the same

        usable heat output.

* EASE OF OPERATION

    • Rapid setup, short learning curve, and low maintenance.

        Benefit: On the job quicker, lowers training costs for both operating and service

        personnel.

* TRAILER OPTION

    • 100% Self-contained secure system, compact in size, with onboard fuel tanks

      and extra storage space.

        Benefit: JetHeat is available as a completely self-contained system in a compact

        enclosed trailer for mobile use.  Two 80-gallon fuel tanks with safety fill caps hold

        enough fuel for 30 to 50 hours of unattended run time.  The trailer is large

        enough to transport a second JetHeat unit along with 25' to 200' of delivery air duct.

        Small and lightweight it can be towed easily with conventional pickup trucks.  A pintel

        hitch is standard but can be converted to a 2 5/16" ball.
